IN: Did You Know You May Be Responsible For COBRA?

Dear Valued Customer,

In this issue of “———–“ we focus on COBRA. Most people do not understand how COBRA works, even though as an employer, you are responsible for ensuring employees are offered COBRA in certain circumstances. And, as an employee, you need to ensure continuation of group health coverage that otherwise might be terminated for you and your dependents.

In short, subject to the event surrounding how you lost your coverage, COBRA provides certain former employees, retirees, spouses, former spouses, and dependent children the right to temporary continuation of health coverage at group rates. Read on to find out what you need to know about what COBRA is and who’s eligible for it, what your responsibilities are as an employer, and much more.

We appreciate your continued business and look forward to serving you.

Kind regards,
